“The Flathead County Board of Adjustment will discuss project on March 6,” says the Flathead Beacon.
“On March 6, the Flathead County Board of Adjustment will consider a conditional-use permit that would allow for a manufactured-home park with 122 rental spaces in Evergreen,” per the their report.
“Evergreen is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Flathead County, Montana, United States. The population was 7,616 at the 2010 census, up from 6,215 at the 2000 census,” says Wikipedia.
The applicants are Michael V. Seaman and Garry Seaman. They are seeking the permit to build West Evergreen Estates on 33 acres off West Evergreen Drive, west of Evergreen School.
BeenVerified lists as a relative of Garry’s a manufactured home retailer nearby, “Patty Seaman Homes Inc. Manufactured Home Dealership.”
The Seamans’ plan includes nearly 9 acres of open park space. The Evergreen school has requested that the developers build a five-foot chain link fence along the eastern boundary of the manufactured-home park.
“As of Feb. 16, the Flathead County Planning and Zoning Office had not received public comment on the project,” said the Beacon, adding, “The March 6 Board of Adjustment meeting at 6 p.m. at the South Campus building in Kalispell. The Flathead County Planning Board will take up the issue in April.”
A PDF of a proposal by Seaman, dated 2017, is linked here. The 26 page document will give those who’ve not undergone the process a snapshot of what a developer must do to get a project approved. ## (News, analysis, and commentary.)
