In an announcement provided to MHProNews, the Louisville Show’s management made the following announcement. It will be followed with additional background information and an evidence-based look ahead at what this might mean for the yet-to-be held ‘first’ Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show.
The Louisville Show is Canceled
The Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation board of directors has decided to cancel the 2021 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show. This was a difficult, but necessary decision following recent news of an increase in the spread of COVID-19 and projections that a vaccine to counter the virus will not be available before the show. The board made this decision out of an abundance of caution to protect the health and wellbeing of our industry associates and guests planning to attend.
We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may have caused, but ask for your understanding during this time as our nation works to slow the spread of the pandemic. If you have questions about the Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation boards’ decision, please do not hesitate to call Dennis Hill at (770) 587-3350.”

On Thursday, November 12, 2020 Morningstar Meetings Group reported the following.
“The effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 temporarily halted the face-to-face meetings industry, as countries and states banned gatherings of all sizes and many organizations put travel on hold. But as disruptive as these measures have been, resulting in countless conventions and meetings having to be cancelled, postponed or moved to online-only, many planners are still planning to hold their events — just at a later date when the public-health crisis (hopefully) eases.
We are tracking the latest postponements, along with new dates and other updates to industry events caused by the pandemic.”
Morningstar, which tracks events globally, noted similar measures being taken around the world. “Recent spikes have led many European countries to reintroduce measures to curb the spread of infection and reimpose travel constraints on their neighbors.” They provided a list of numerous nations on various continents taking similar measures. This isn’t just a United States issue. It is global as has been the pandemic since its inception in Wuhan, China where the Communist Chinese government failed to take the proper steps to warn other nation in a timely fashion and allowed an estimated 5 million people to leave Wuhan for nations around the world.
Prominent, but not exclusive, on the list of U.S. jurisdictions are those places in the United States which have Democratic governors or mayors of cities where events, including the Louisville Show, are being held. One of several examples possible are illustrated from the headlines in the screen capture below.
Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show in Doubt?
It is possible that a Biden-Harris Administration – Heaven forbid! – could be coming into power on January 20, 2021. The Biden team is already signaling they are seriously considering about a 4-6 week lockdown ‘due to COVID19.’ Some headlines from various sources on that concern are shown below.
If, so, that puts the plans for the Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show in doubt. The event was set for March 15-18, 2021, which a rival platform to MHProNews incorrectly prominently showed as scheduled for 2020 (duh).
Furthermore, such a Biden-lockdown could put more manufactured housing independents at risk of failing or being forced to sell to consolidators at a discounted valuation.
There is more to know.
But that overview is sufficient for those able to objectively look at the facts and think/plan ahead to support state-based efforts to not certify any battleground state race.
There are numerous constitutional ways that President Trump can still prevail.
