Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services reports the company has sold Forest Green Mobile Home Park in Hudson, Fla., an all age land lease community just north of Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla. Originally developed in 1984, Forest Green has 49 single-section and 32 double-section homes, a community pool, recreation area and playground. According to Marcus & Millichap, the owners are busy developing an RV property in northern Fla. and did not have the necessary time to devote to Forest Green. Although no information was received concerning the sale price, nor the buyer or seller, MHProNews has learned independently from loopnet the property was listed in Aug. 2011 for $2,500,000, which is equivalent to $30,864.20 per site, and was owned by Page Electric. The assessed value was $1,264,289 for the 11 1/2 acres.
