MHProNews mourns the passing in Hartford, CT of Kristian Jensen, Jr., a logtime MH industry member and ardent advocate. Kris, 78, was instrumental in building the family business as a teenager from a automobile dealership to the current Jensen’s Inc, which owns and manages 29 MHCs in eight states. Kris served on the Board of Directors of the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) and the Manufactured Housing Educational Institute. He also served as Chairman of the MHI National Communities Council, and as board member and President of the Connecticut Manufactured Housing Association. In 2000 he was recognized for having the best LLC in the entire country, and received the National Community Operator of the year. In 2009 he was inducted into the MH/RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana. MHProNews extends its deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
