Washington, D.C., June 3, 2015 – The Manufactured Housing Association for Regulatory Reform (MHARR) reports that according to official statistics compiled on behalf of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), manufactured housing industry production continued to increase during April 2015. Just-released statistics indicate that HUD Code manufacturers produced 6,085 homes in April 2015, a 7.6% increase over the 5,653 HUD Code homes produced during April 2014. Cumulative industry production for 2015 now totals 21,409 homes, a 10.8% increase over the 19,318 HUD Code homes produced over the same period in 2014.
