Realtors concluded this week they’ve been over-counting home sales for years. According to a CNBC Report, the National Association of Realtors revealed that some properties counted were listed more than once, and in some instances, new home sales were also captured. The result- the inventory and sales data since 2007 is being downwardly revised. The benchmark revisions will be published next Wednesday and the group says they will not affect house prices.
