Northeast Super Symposium II for Land- leased Community Owners & Retailers

The Northeast Super Symposium II for Manufactured Home Land-Leased Community (LLC) Owners and Retailers will be held March 29 & 30, 2011 at the Holiday Inn Wolf Road in Albany, N.Y. Hosted by the New York Housing Association, this very popular event will be a must attend for every LLC in the eleven state Northeast region.

The Symposium kicks off at 8 am on Tuesday, March 29th with a Continental Breakfast in the Exhibitor’s area. The Opening session begins at 9 am. David Lentz, President and CEO of American Land Lease, Inc. will lead off the Symposium with “The State of the Manufactured Housing Industry”. Karl Jacob of the CPA firm Dannible & McKee, LLC will update attendees on “New Federal Business Income & Estate Tax Laws.” Industry leader, Dick Ernst, Financial Marketing Associates will present “The SAFE Act and Finance Issues.”

After lunch, esteemed Professor Dr. David Funk from Cornell University will present a segment on “Manufactured Housing Demographics.” Industry Consultant George Allen, GFA Management will lead a session “Using Sensible Guidelines to Price and Sell Homes.” Kenneth Rishel, Rishel Consulting Group will return with new information on “How to Self Finance New & Resale Homes.” Derrick Hachey and Drew Peters from Manufactured Home Source will show attendees “Making the Best of Social Media for Your Business”. Attendees will have the opportunity to network at a delicious reception Tuesday evening.

Wednesday, March 30th will again start with a Continental Breakfast in the exhibitor’s area. A representative from the Manufactured Housing Institute and the National Communities Council will give a “National Issues Perspective for LLC’s” to start the morning program. Attendees will want to hear Donna Rishel, Rishel Consulting Group informative presentation “Regulatory Compliance Issues That Impact You.” The Symposium will close with the very popular “Ask the Experts, Using What You Have Learned” session where attendees can interact with the speakers and summarize all the information covered in the day and a half event.

Attendees will not want to miss the Trade Expo with numerous vendors displaying their products and services and community designed homes on display. The networking events and peer-to-peer interaction is a very valuable experience as well.

The registration fee for members of a northeast state manufactured housing association is $175 for the first person from a company and $99 for each additional person from the same company. The fee for non-members is $300 per person. The registration fee includes lunch, meeting room rental and materials, breaks and the networking reception. All fees are non-refundable.
