The ChillicotheNews in Chillicothe, Missouri tells MHProNews.com a public hearing will be held by the city council to consider a zoning ordinance amendment so differentiation can be made between manufactured, mobile, and modular housing, and where they may be sited. City Engineer Ron Urton says the current ordinance is outdated and severely restricts where modular housing can placed. The amendment as proposed defines each type of home, addresses past issues, delineates where each type can be sited, and expands the siting options for modular homes.
