MHProNews.com has learned a National Modular Housing Council report indicates shipments for modular homes were up 7.9 percent fourth quarter 2011 over the same period 2010, to 3,030 units. During that year, eleven states showed increases, eleven had decreases, and seven states had insignificant change. Nebraska, Maryland, Texas, and Virginia had the largest percentage increase, while New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas had the largest total shipments, in the order shown.
