The Dow spent most of the day in the green and ended with a third percent gain of 41 points. The Manufactured Housing Composite Value gained more that one percent. Big gainers included previously mentioned UMH Properties, up more than four percent, as well as Barnes Group and Cavco, each up around two percent. Axle maker TJT closed nearly three percent higher.
