The Kiowa City Council in southeastern Oklahoma voted to allow single section manufactured homes in areas outside communities and campgrounds. The AlvaReview tells MHProNews.com the oil boom has brought more people to the area, and the city can collect fees from the new residents if they bring in a manufactured home. The council also voted to change the zoning laws to allow them to be sited.
