LivingHomes invited the press to watch as it assembles a new three-home multifamily residence in Los Altos, California. Designed by iconic California architect Ray Kappe, FAIA, and featuring some of the most high performance sustainable building materials available, the company says this new LivingHome is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, the first in Los Altos and one of the few in California. Eight modules make up the newest LivingHome and will be installed using at 250-ton crane. The entire residence will be assembled within a two-day period.
