MHProNews has just learned of the passing of George Goldman on May 6, 2012. Entrepreneur, real estate investor, and philanthropist, Goldman, 80, owned several MHCs in the Midwest as well as Woodall’s Guide, a comprehensive guide to RV campgrounds, parks, parts and service that he developed, and that originally listed MHCs. He originated the five star rating system of evaluating RV and MH communities, although he dropped MH from the publication in the 1970’s. He also founded Goldman Philanthropic Partnerships and Partnership for Cures. He is survived by his wife, Judy, four children and 11 grandchildren. MHProNews sends its deepest sympathies to the Goldman family.
