JetsonGreen tells MHProNews M. Gerwind Architects, trying to close in on a net-zero energy home, has developed a narrow 145 foot long container dwelling with a cantilevered master bedroom. This 2,800 square foot modular unit has 140 feet of solar panels and is being sited in Boulder, Colo. Although they could be configured in several ways, the narrow lot led to re-purposing the shipping containers as a home with extensive windows. The second story is shown being set. Another module will be set in several months.
