If the U.S. economic system is being threatened, as some on the left and right have offered evidence and alleged, then it is obvious that the U.S. housing market is also being placed at risk. While there are legal prohibitions and certain limitations, others who purport to cover inherently affordable manufactured housing news have the right under our system of government to be a little, very, or even mostly wrong so long as they are not deliberately trying to manipulate people or the marketplace in unlawful ways. With those two preceding statements, an evidence-based case can be made that the vast majority of the American public is being deliberately screwed over, to put it as politely as possible. Additionally, millions of souls that appear to have been unlawfully lured into violating U.S. immigration laws are naturally putting a financial strain on other American resources. Those souls are reportedly being coached to illegally vote for Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 election. Every business or investment being made by smaller to even mid-sized investors is being placed at risk by these and interconnected trends. It is entirely possible that multimillionaires will be financially wiped out in a potentially coming wave of economic disruption that is not accidental, but rather is seemingly deliberate. For those who may not grasp why some very wealthy corporate interests, certain billionaires, nonprofits, and public officials may be willing to risk so much, the words of Warren Buffett quoted below should be called to mind.
That’s the alliance hiding in plain sight. That is the nexus between corporate and state power, which fits the classic definition of Corporatism or Fascism.
Socialism and government handouts of whatever type are a mere façade for scores of elites in big business and big government. They work in conjunction with lobbyists, certain nonprofits, and numbers in big tech and big media as middle-men facilitating the thinly veiled rigged system.
It may seem like the behavior and de facto policies of Joe Biden, his Democratic Party and RINO allies are contrary to the interests of the nation and thus most Americans. Millions of women or men might think about many policies in the U.S. and abroad: ‘this makes no sense.’ That is because most people have basically decent or normal impulses.
Meanwhile, research revealed that the “Dark Triad” ways of the uber-wealthy – or even the so-called 1 percent, who have a “Grand Canyon” sized gap in their thinking between most of the rest of American society.
It is true that a potential sharp economic downturn or high inflation harm the masses.
But if a serious or sharp economic downturn hits the nation in the foreseeable future, some elites with deep pockets will profit from that slump. That occurred during and after the declared COVID19 pandemic and in the wake of the 2008 housing-finance crisis too. Because depressed property and stock values means the wealthy can use their liquid capital to buy assets at a discounted price.
So, spending far too much money, letting in waves of migrants who have not been vetted and strain law enforcement, health care, education, social services, housing, and essentially all other resources have several indirect benefits for the wealthiest among us. Undocumented workers coming in undermines the potential earnings of American citizens and those employed by businesses who legally entered the U.S.
That is why some living behind walled compounds don’t want a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
It is too much to say that every wealthy person is automatically evil. But that many of the uber rich think in this outlined fashion is demonstrably true, as quotes and information that follows will substantiate.
This system in a practical way isn’t capitalism in the traditional sense. It isn’t free enterprise; this is cronyism, vulture capitalism, and corruption.
The leaders involved in this form of corruption and cronyism are comfortable with alliances and doing deals with Marxists, socialists, communists, criminals of whatever type. They are pleased to work with whatever ‘useful idiots’ or whomever in their view benefits their personal interests and advances their personal fiefdoms. When someone lacks a moral compass, anything goes.

Part I – Per left-leaning Bloomberg and right-leaning Newsmax
“The exceptional recent performance of the United States is certainly impressive and a major driver of global growth,” the IMF said. “But it reflects strong demand factors as well, including a fiscal stance that is out of line with long-term fiscal sustainability.” The U.S. government’s overspending risks reigniting inflation and undermining not only long-term U.S. fiscal and financial stability but economic stability around the world, the IMF said. “Something will have to give,” the IMF warned.
U.S. spending under the Biden administration has been driven by investments in infrastructure and clean energy, and rising interest costs. The U.S. deficit is projected to reach $45.7 trillion, or 114% of gross domestic product, by 2033, up from 97% at the end of 2023, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
Part II – Cloward Piven Strategy
The following Q&A was put to left-leaning Bing’s artificial intelligence powered Copilot.
How accurate is this Quick Look linked here into the Cloward and Piven strategy? https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/civil-unrest/the-cloward-and-piven-strategy/
The Cloward–Piven strategy, proposed by American sociologists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven in 1966, aims to create a political crisis by overloading the welfare system. Here are the key points:
- Objective: The strategy seeks to utilize militant anti-poverty groups to increase welfare claims, thereby straining the system. The ultimate goal is to force the creation of a guaranteed minimum income and redistribute income through the federal government1.
- History: Cloward and Piven outlined their strategy in a 1966 article titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” in the liberal magazine The Nation1.
- Tactics:
- Bureaucratic Disruption: By encouraging eligible individuals to apply for welfare benefits, they aimed to overload an already burdened bureaucracy.
- Political Impact: They anticipated that this disruption would deepen divisions within the Democratic Party coalition, leading to federal solutions that would override local welfare failures and conflicts1.
- Criticism and Reception:
- Critics argue that the strategy could lead to economic collapse and undermine the existing welfare system.
- Supporters view it as a way to address poverty and inequality through systemic change1.
In summary, the Cloward–Piven strategy remains a topic of debate, with both proponents and skeptics discussing its potential impact on society and governance1. For a more detailed analysis, you can explore the linked article here 1…”
Part III – Trump Trial
According to a report that cited the left-leaning New York Times and CNN under the headline “Reporter: Potential Trump Jurors Are ‘More Left-of-Center Than Not’” from right-leaning Breitbart was the following.
Potential Trump jurors more often than not lean politically left, New York Times’s reporter Maggie Haberman said Thursday.
Haberman’s statement confirms a widely held belief among Republicans that former President Donald Trump will not receive a fair criminal trial in Manhattan. President Joe Biden won over 86 percent of the Manhattan vote in 2020.
Potential jurors who are prepared to exercise their rights to vote their conscience and the law as applied, not just the supposed facts of a case, are being screened.
- “Only about 12 percent of the people in this area voted for Trump,” constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley told Fox News
- “The jurors you have to worry about are the ones who are sort of ‘Trojan horse jurors,’ who are hiding bias that doesn’t appear on social media or are involved in any formal charges like the one that was just removed today.”
Breitbart said:
Democrat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 felonies, accusing him of falsifying documents to conceal a sex scandal. The trial is the first criminal trial of a president of the United States.
Only about one-third of U.S. adults believe Trump did something illegal regarding the case, an AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll found Tuesday.”
Breitbart provided this snapshot of those twelve jurors.
— A man who lives in Hells Kitchen, works in investment banking, has an MBA in finance, is married and lives with his wife, and enjoys hiking, music concerts and living with his wife. He describes himself as agnostic, but raised Catholic. He said he uses X, follows Truth Social Posts via X, follows trial witness Michael Cohen, the anti-Trump X account user Mueller She Wrote, and follows news on the Ukraine and Israel Wars. He said he also listens to SiriusXM radio.
— A man who lives in West Village, has worked as a security engineer for 25 years, is married with three children, and whose wife is a teacher. His hobbies are his children, and metal and woodworking. He said he does not have social media and follows a “spattering” of news outlets. He answered “yes,” when asked “Have you, a relative, or a close friend ever worked for any company or organization that is owned or run by Donald Trump or anyone in his family?”
— A man who lives in the Upper East Side originally from Lebanon, is retired but still consults with some clients, has an MBA, is married with a son and a daughter, enjoys fly fishing, and skiing and does yoga and meditation every morning. He said he follows the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the BBC, and CNBC. His brother in law is a lawyer.
— A woman who lives in the Upper East Side who grew up in New Jersey, works as a speech therapist for the Department of Education, has a B.A. and Master’s degree, is single with no children, lives alone, enjoys walks, restaurants, and taking advantage of living in New York City, said, “I don’t watch any news or follow it too closely.” She said she subscribes to the New York Times’ “morning whatever” and CNN’s Five Things newsletters, listens to podcasts about reality TV, and has a mom who works for the state of New Jersey. She said about Trump, “I do have opinions, yes,” but she insisted she can be fair and impartial. She also said, “I do not agree with a lot of his politics and his decisions as a president, but I have really taken the past two days to reflect and make sure that I could leave that at the door and be a totally impartial juror, and I feel like I can.”
— A man who lives in Murray Hill, is originally from Ohio, works for an eyewear company in commerce, is unmarried with no children, lives with an accountant, likes the outdoors and animals. He said he did not have a “strong opinion” about Trump, and said, “Some things I am in favor, for things I am not in favor.”
— A woman who lives in Upper Manhattan, works as a product development manager for a multinational apparel company, is unmarried with no children, enjoys exploring New York and eating, said, “I don’t really follow the news,” but uses Google and reads industry-specific outlets. She said, “I don’t have strong opinions about him, but I don’t like his persona, how he presents himself in public. I don’t really agree with some of his politics, but that does not mean I can’t be impartial.” She added, “I don’t like some of my co-workers, but I am not going to — but I can hear him out and understand his point of view and understand his issues.” She also said, “He just seems very selfish and self serving, so I don’t really appreciate that in any public servant. So I don’t, I mean I don’t know him as a person, so I don’t know how he is in terms of his integrity or anything in his personal life. But how he is in public and how he himself portrays himself in public, it just seems to me it is not my cup of tea.”
— A woman who lives on the Upper East Side who works as a physical therapist, has a B.A. and doctorate in physical therapy, is married with no children, and has a husband who works as a coach for a professional sports team, and enjoys running, playing tennis, and paddle boarding with husband and dog. She said she reads the New York Times, USA Today, and CNN. She also listens to podcasts related to sports and faith. She said her in-laws are attorneys. She said she did not have strong feelings about Trump.
Previously selected jurors on Monday and Tuesday are described as follows.
— A man who lives in West Harlem and works in sales, who is married, enjoys “anything outdoorsy,” and said he follows the New York Times, Daily Mail, some Fox News and MSNBC.
— A man who lives in Chelsea, is a corporate law attorney, is not married with children, enjoys hiking and running, and get his news from the the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and Google.
— A woman who lives in Harlem, is a teacher and lives with her brother, a basketball coach. She enjoys writing, theater, and traveling, and gets her news from Google and TikTok. She said she listens to podcasts on relationships and pop culture, as well as the Breakfast Club podcast.
— A woman who lives in Chelsea and works as a software engineer. She has three roommates, and said she gets news from the New York Times and TikTok.
— A man who lives on the Upper East Side and is a civil litigator. He said he knew virtually nothing about criminal law and election finance. He said he did not think a former president should be held to a higher standard and said he was ambivalent about Trump, saying something things he liked, and some he did not. He said he was not sure if he had any opinion about his character.
An alternate juror is described this way.
— A woman who lives in Midtown East, is an analyst for an asset manager, lives with a self-employed boyfriend, likes to run and hang out with friends and eat, and reads the Wall Street Journal or the New York Times. Her sister is a law student.
The case is often described by Trump and conservative media as being blatant “third world” style “election interference.”
Perhaps in response to on-air observations by ex-Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino turned podcaster and talk-radio host that a likely Trump conviction in that case could prove to be a nightmare for a prison or the Secret Service, due to protective detail and pragmatic aspects of federal law, Democratic Rep. Bernie Thompson (MS-D) has proposed a bill that will strip Trump of Secret Service protection if enacted.
In a statement, Thompson said:
Unfortunately, current law doesn’t anticipate how Secret Service protection would impact the felony prison sentence of a protectee-even a former President. It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality. Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment-and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them.
In an X-post Thompson said this.
JUST IN: Congressman @BennieGThompson introduced legislation to ensure no Secret Service protection for convicted felons sentenced to prison.

Byron York, Chief Political Correspondent with the Washington Examiner, made these observations about the Thompson bill.
Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson ran the January 6 committee, which mixed elements of show trial and reality series. Focused solely on Trump, of course. Now, Thompson wants to take away Trump’s Secret Service protection if Trump is convicted on any of the 88 felony charges levelled against him by elected Democratic prosecutors and a Biden Justice Department appointee. Obvious subtext here is that removing USSS would make it easier for someone to kill Trump, which is arguably the goal of Thompson’s bill, H.R. 8081: The DISGRACED Former Protectees Act.
Part IV – Election Interference and Election Integrity
Per the Republican National Commitee (RNC) and Trump Campaign press release of 4.19.2024.
TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RNC UNVEIL HISTORIC 100,000 PERSON STRONG ELECTION INTEGRITY PROGRAM
WASHINGTON – In an historic move to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process, the Trump Campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) announce the launch of the most extensive and monumental election integrity program in the nation’s history.
About the launch, President Trump said, “Having the right people to count the ballots is just as important as turning out voters on Election Day. Republicans are now working together to protect the vote and ensure a big win on November 5th!”
RNC Chairman Michael Whatley, Co-Chair Lara Trump and Chief Counsel Charlie Spies, together with the Campaign, designed this new program to have over 100,000 dedicated volunteers and attorneys deployed across every battleground state as part of the RNC’s commitment to ensuring transparency and fairness in the 2024 elections.
“Election integrity is the foundation of our democracy,” said Chairman Whatley. “Through this unprecedented program, we are mobilizing lawyers and volunteers who are committed to preserving the sanctity of our elections.”
Whenever a ballot is being cast or counted, Republican poll watchers will be observing the process and reporting any irregularity. In the event of an irregularity or problem, RNC lawyers and the volunteer attorneys that they have coordinated will provide rapid response services to resolve the issue using a sophisticated, tested action protocol.
“The Democrat tricks from 2020 won’t work this time. In 2024 we’re going to beat the Democrats at their own game and the RNC legal team will be working tirelessly to ensure that elections officials follow the rules in administering elections. We will aggressively take them to court if they don’t follow rules or try to change them at the last minute,” said Charlie Spies. “President Trump has said that the Republican victory in November needs to be too big to rig. The political team will be working to ensure a huge victory for Republicans at all levels, and RNC legal is committed to making sure that victory can’t be rigged.”
“Every ballot. Every precinct. Every processing center. Every county. Every battleground state. We will be there,” said Co-Chair Lara Trump. “The RNC is hiring hundreds of election integrity staff across the map – more than ever before because our Party will be recruiting thousands of more observers to protect the vote in 2024. These campaign officials in states are tasked with recruiting, training, and when possible, shifting poll watchers and poll workers day in and day out.”
Partnered alongside the efforts of grassroots supporters and legal experts, the program is establishing a robust network of monitoring, and protection against any violation or fraud. This groundbreaking initiative underscores the unwavering commitment of the RNC and the Trump Campaign to protect the election.
To empower poll watchers, poll workers, and attorneys, comprehensive training sessions will be conducted every month on the monitoring of not only voting sites but also ballot tabulation centers. These trainings will equip volunteers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively oversee potential problems in the electoral process, guaranteeing that every vote is counted accurately and fairly.
There are five areas of observation where we will guarantee coverage and aggressive attorneys will be engaged at all these stages to stop Democrat attempts to circumvent rules:
- Logic & Accuracy Machine Testing
- Early Voting
- Election Day Voting
- Mail Ballot Processing: Adjudication & Duplication
- Post-Election: Canvass, Audits, Recounts
Attorneys will be stationed at every single target processing center where mail ballots are tabulated. This program starts with lawyers committing to battleground state polling sites, county boards of elections, secretaries of state offices, and in the Republican Party War Rooms.
Every single battleground state is operating its own “Election Integrity Hotline.” The State Republican War Room is the command center where lawyers will field all incoming questions and issues reported by poll watchers and voters statewide. Lawyers will guide poll watchers through the appropriate election code and provide clarity on how various issues should be answered, resolved, or escalated. This system will be operational from the first day of early voting through election day – and afterward if necessary.
Under the leadership of Chairman Whatley and Co-Chair Trump, the RNC is executing an unprecedented legal strategy, fighting in courtrooms across the country. We will deliver a pro-active litigation effort every time election officials are breaking the law as well as intervene to defend commonsense election law safeguards under Democrat attack.
The RNC team of lawyers is already aggressively engaging in legal battles around the country. So far this cycle, the RNC has engaged in 82 election integrity lawsuits in 25 states.
The election integrity program’s scale and scope are unparalleled and reflects an historic collaboration between the RNC, the Trump Campaign, and passionate grassroots coalitions who are deeply invested in fighting voter fraud. Together, we will work tirelessly to ensure that every eligible voter can participate in a free and fair election.

Part V – Project 2025
The article linked below delves into examples of how and why staffing of a possible Trump Administration 2.0 could be critical for benefit to the housing industry in general, and manufactured housing in particular. Lois Starkey, featured in that report, is a former Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) vice president. A potentially related item is planned for our Sunday feature in our weekly MHVille headlines recap.
Part VI – Increasingly Unaffordable Housing
According to left-leaning CBS News: “Many Americans are struggling to keep a roof over their head amid the high cost of housing in the U.S. About half of homeowners and renters said they have periodically struggled this year to afford their mortgage payment or rent, according to a recent survey from online real estate broker Redfin.”
A headline on left-leaning CNN said: “This is the least affordable housing market since 1984. It’s getting worse.”

In no particular order of importance related to the reports to the above are the following reports.
An evidence-based case can be made in minutes that without millions of more inherently affordable HUD Code manufactured homes, the U.S. affordable housing crisis can’t be solved. Which begs the question, why hasn’t the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) forcefully and continuously made that case? Why aren’t they pitching that case every day and every week to media, to state and federal officials, and in courtrooms?
Deposed President Trump has repeatedly said that when they are coming after him, the rigged system is actually coming after the masses of American citizens. There appears to be a steady stream of traditional Democratic voters that are buying into that argument. No less a figure than Tim Williams, President and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway owned 21st Mortgage Corporation, made the argument that progressive or socialistic policies don’t work. They are a threat to the manufactured housing industry, said Williams. Where is the follow through on those remarks? Why is MHI pushing on their own news page a Democratic plan that goes counter to Williams’ insights? It isn’t just Williams, leftists like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has said that the biggest threat to Americans is from the Biden regime and its policies. Leftist Michael Weinstein (see linked report below) has said that the Democratic party is screwing over its own traditional voting base. The threats to the American Way of life are apparent. Each person must do their part in the great awakening. ##
