“Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY8-D) said in an X post Sunday after an apparent 2nd attempt on deposed 45th President Donald J. Trump was foiled. Jeffries added, “We must stop them.” It will be recalled that Democratic Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris during the televised ABC News debate said Trump would be a “tyrant” if re-elected and she used other language similar to what Jeffries expressed via X. Ryan Routh was arrested by law enforcement on 9.15.2024 following the 2nd known attempt on Trump’s life within a matter of weeks. Routh, per reports, is a Democratic donor via ActBlue, is pro-Ukraine, and is anti-Trump. In a distinctive segment of this news roundup will reflect and provide facts and analysis on, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK) Vice-Chair Ajit Jain last week sold over half of his shares in Berkshire, per left-leaning Bloomberg and other sources.
Part I – House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY8-D) on 9.15.2024
About an hour after the 45th President of the United States (POTUS) was near gunfire purportedly involving Ryan Routh, a Democratic Party donor, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY8-D) said the following via X.
Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025.
We must stop them.
— Hakeem Jeffries (@RepJeffries) September 15, 2024
You are so full of shit Hakeem. He isn’t with project 2025. He isn’t doing a national abortion ban. You lie.
Another attempt on Trumps life just happened, and you’re here lying about Trump. The only extremism I see is the democrat party trying to take out president Trump.
— Sassafrass84 (@Sassafrass_84) September 15, 2024
I’m starting to think “extreme MAGA Republicans” don’t exist and the real extremists are you guys.

The following is from left-leaning Snopes.

Right-leaning Breitbart cited left-leaning CNN with the following.
Sunday, during CNN’s coverage of a second attempted assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, former FBI counterterrorism agent Tim Clemente told host Erin Burnett that finger-pointing at Trump, including claims his “verbiage” about a “bloodbath” for the auto industry if his Democrat opponent wins misconstrued to bolster claims of violence if he didn’t win, was a likely motivation for the accused assassin.
“It’s unprecedented in a civilized society, and I think we’re becoming more and more uncivilized, sadly, with the political diatribes that are going on and the political new indictments of either candidate,” he said. “And sadly, the finger pointing at Trump has led to — you know — you know, the line about the blood — bloodbath, talking about the auto industry being used as if he’s going to create a bloody coup if he loses.”
“That — that kind of — that kind of verbiage is something you use in a third world country when you’re talking about a dictator, and that sadly has led to, I think, these attempts on Trump’s life and I don’t think it’s going to end. I think we just have to realize, look, we’re political opponents,” Clemente continued. “You and I might not agree on 50% of what we care about politically. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t mean we can’t be friends, neighbors, relatives, and have a regular dialogue every day. We have to get back to that talk about our differences, but not in a way that makes us feel like you’re the enemy and I’m all good.”
Part II – Suspected Trump Assassin Identified as Ryan Wesley Routh
“Using public records, Routh appears to be from Greensboro, North Carolina,” some reports say he was from Hawaii, “and was or still is part owner of United Roofing and Construction Inc.,” said the right-leaning ZeroHedge financial news site.

Per ZeroHedge was the following.
“What’s startling is that corporate media, such as NYTimes, Financial Times, Semafor, and others, paraded the shooter around with a number of quotes about Ukraine and Taiwan:
“It’s a pretty big yard, but the front bank is completely full,” Ryan Routh, an American volunteer who started the memorial last year, said. “There may be 10,000 at this point. ‘Flags of the fallen’ is what I’ve been calling it.”
Routh, a former construction worker who lives in Hawaii, is one of the thousands of foreigners who, after seeing news reports about the invasion, travelled into Ukraine in early 2022 to volunteer as fighters or medics.
“Most of the Ukrainian authorities do not want these soldiers,” said Ryan Routh, head of the International Volunteer Center in Ukraine, a private organization which helps foreigners seeking to assist the war effort connect with military units and aid groups. “I have had partners meeting with [Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense] every week and still have not been able to get them to agree to issue one single visa.”
The New York Times article backs up the Russian Defense Ministry’s information regarding the countries which are actively trying to recruit mercenaries to join the fight in Ukraine. It wrote about Ryan Routh, a former construction worker from North Carolina who spent several months in Ukraine last year and is now seeking recruits among Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban. He plans to move them to Ukraine from Pakistan and Iran – in some cases, illegally. Nevertheless, dozens of people have apparently expressed an interest.
With Legion growth stalling, Ryan Routh, a former construction worker from Greensboro, N.C., is seeking recruits from among Afghan soldiers who fled the Taliban. Mr. Routh, who spent several months in Ukraine last year, said he planned to move them, in some cases illegally, from Pakistan and Iran to Ukraine. He said dozens had expressed interest. “We can probably purchase some passports through Pakistan, since it’s such a corrupt country,” he said in an interview from Washington.
The man behind the wall of banners, Ryan Routh, told CNA that he posted the flags to pay tribute to the nations that have citizens fighting in Ukraine’s foreign legion, the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine. Routh said there have been no protests about the presence of the Taiwan flag so far, but even if China is dissatisfied, “I can order another 1,000, they can’t touch my flags.”
Routh, 56, originally hails from Hawaii, but most recently worked in the construction industry in North Carolina and has no military background. He came to Kyiv more than two months ago to show his support for Ukraine and wanted to join the foreign legion.
However, due to his age, he was unable to do so, and he is instead currently assisting the legion in recruiting volunteers for the Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie units in Kharkiv. Thus far, Routh has assisted in recruiting 70 volunteers to join the fight against Russia.
Routh began posting flags on the wall of a sandbagged monument in Kyiv’s Independence Square. He told the news agency that he included Taiwan’s flag because he had met at least five Taiwanese volunteers serving in the legion over the past two months and learned about Taiwan’s contribution to Ukraine’s war effort.
According to Routh, he has yet to receive any protests from China about the presence of the Taiwan flag. He said that any pressure that would come from China would be “nothing” compared to the daily assault by Russian forces on every soldier who supports Ukraine.
He said that he will continue to stay in Kyiv and encourage more people to fight against Russia. European countries deliver truckloads of food, medical supplies, and military equipment, but Ukraine may need three to four times more support, estimated Routh.
The volunteer pointed out that there are only 50 national flags on the stone wall, meaning that there are over 100 countries that do not have a single soldier that has volunteered to fight for Ukraine, “This is unacceptable.” He emphasized the war between Russia and Ukraine is a battle of good versus evil.
Routh asserted that at this critical moment, all countries should give their soldiers unpaid leave and provide air tickets to fly to Ukraine to participate in the war to prevent Russia from starting another war. “We should be united and share success and failure, which is what these flags stand for,” said Routh.
And Newsweek…

Part III – Evidence-Based Allegations, Revelations, and Concerns About ABC News’ Harris-Trump Debate
There is an argument that could be made that deposed President Trump’s use of sarcasm or humor is often turned against him. Trump did say he would be a dictator for a day, referring to executive orders he would sign on ‘day one’ after being re-elected and sworn into the presidency. That said, it is as wrong for Kamala Harris, an ABC debate ‘moderator,’ or anyone else to ignore the context of the remarks which changes the meaning dramatically.

Two can play that game, and some do. The case can be made that what Harris, Jeffries, Gov. Tim Walz (MN-D) are doing is projecting onto Trump and “MAGA Republicans” what they themselves have already demonstrably have been doing with (pardon the pun) trumped up charges in business and other weaponized cases.
Kamala Harris said the Dictator part out loud.
She admits she intends to further weaponize the DOJ & create her own police force to combat “misinformation,” holding accountable anyone who says anything that disagrees with her radical woke agenda.

Democrat constitutional attorney Jonathan Turley took to the Hill to say the following.
Moderator Linsey Davis admitted later that ABC did not want a repeat of what had happened in the last debate, wherein Trump was given free rein and the moderators limited themselves to asking questions and enforcing time limits. CNN was praised in that debate across the political spectrum for being even-handed.
What is most striking about this election is that none of this seems to matter. Indeed, even the debate did not matter. While Trump can legitimately object to a three-against-one debate format, Harris’s victory was clear not dependent on bad calls by the refs. However, there has been little overall movement in the polls, even though 67 million people were watching.
Left-leaning ABC News moderator Linsey Davis told the left-leaning Los Angeles Times that the decision was made to ‘fact-check’ Trump, but not Harris. But some of those supposed fact checks by ABC’s moderators of Trump turned out to be incorrect too. Restated, at least some of the claims of the ABC News whistleblower has been admitted by Davis.
Part IV – Berkshire Hathaway Vice-Chair Ajit Jain Dumped Over Half of His Shares in BRK – Facts and Commentary
One of the largest players in the manufactured housing industry is Warren Buffett led Berkshire Hathaway (BRK). Berkshire owns Clayton Homes, 21st Mortgage Corporation, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Shaw, and other brands involved in manufactured housing.
Note that prior to the foiled shooting yesterday by purported gunman Ryan Routh, MHProNews had already signaled in our Sunday report that we would be doing an article on this topic about Berkshire Hathaway Vice-Chair Ajit Jain dumping over half of his shares in BRK. That teaser for this segment of the report said that would be dependent upon possible breaking news. Obviously, news broke in the form of the foiled Routh shooting of Trump. So, it must not be thought that there is some implied link between this segment of the report and Routh. If there is a link, it is unknown to MHProNews at this time.
That said, according to left-leaning Yahoo Jain sold 200 Berkshire Class A shares on Monday for roughly $139 million, representing roughly 55% of his total stake in the conglomerate. “He now holds just 61 Berkshire shares personally, as well as 55 shares in a family trust, and 50 in a nonprofit corporation called the Jain Foundation.”
Left-leaning Bloomberg said: “Ajit Jain, Berkshire’s vice-chair sold $139 million of the company’s shares on Monday. Jain will have $112 million left in shares, owned by himself, his family trusts, and his nonprofit.”
Per Yahoo Finance are the following statements.
Ajit Jain has been a feature at Warren Buffett’s side since he left McKinsey & Co. to join Berkshire Hathaway in 1986, helping to grow the conglomerate’s suite of insurance businesses into a global powerhouse over the years. But now Berkshire’s 73-year-old vice chairman of non-insurance operations is selling stock.
Jain sold 200 Berkshire Class A shares on Monday for roughly $139 million, representing roughly 55% of his total stake in the conglomerate. He now holds just 61 Berkshire shares personally, as well as 55 shares in a family trust, and 50 in a nonprofit corporation called the Jain Foundation. Buffett has famously never split Berkshire’s Class A stock, which discourages short-sellers and high-frequency traders, and is meant to encourage long-term value investors. Jain sold his shares at an average price of $695,417.65 per share. At that price, the value of his remaining stake is about $115.4 million.
What motivated Jain to sell is still unclear, but it could simply be a matter of taking profits at an opportune time. “I’d say it’s a bit surprising,” Steve Check, president and CIO of Check Capital Management, which has 24.4% of its holdings in Berkshire Hathaway, told Fortune of the move. “The only reason I can come up with for why he is selling is he thinks the stock is fully priced, and it is—it’s probably as fully priced as it’s been since before the financial crisis, trading at something like 1.65 times book value.”
More from Yahoo Finance, which in turn credited left-leaning Fortune, on Jain’s BRK stock sale.
Berkshire stock has soared nearly 23% year to date, pushing the megaconglomerate’s market capitalization above the $1 trillion mark for the first time in its history. That’s compared to a roughly 17% rise for the S&P 500 over the same period.
Tax considerations could also be behind Jain’s sale. “If he thinks that capital gains tax rates are going up in the future, he may want to take advantage of, let’s say, the relatively low rates today,” Check argued.
Their article said that Buffett credit Jain with making: “tens of billions of value for Berkshire shareholders” over his career, calling him a “proven performer.” That same report said this.
At Berkshire’s annual shareholder meeting in 2023, Buffett again emphasized that Jain has been a critical feature of the conglomerate’s success. “We won’t have the same business if Ajit isn’t running it,” he told investors.
To his point, Berkshire’s insurance operations accounted for $83.4 billion, or around 23%, of its $364.4 billion in revenue in 2023—and more like a third of its earnings. Analysts at Morningstar noted earlier this year that half of Berkshire’s valuation comes from its insurance businesses as well.
According to left-leaning USA Today.
Since Berkshire’s second-quarter 13F filing, investors have gotten major updates on one of its largest holdings. Berkshire has disclosed several major sales of Bank of America (BAC) stock in separate filings. In August 2024 and September 2024, Berkshire disclosed the sale of roughly $7 billion of BAC shares.
As previously reported by MHProNews, and per left-leaning Fortune on 8.11.2024 is the following.
Berkshire sold $90 billion in stocks in the first half of 2024, the Apple dump accounting for the vast bulk of the proceeds. That downshift raised Berkshire’s cash holdings from the previous record of $189 billion at the close of Q1, to $278 billion.
The left-leaning Associated Press (AP) said on 8.14.2024 this.
In addition to the big Apple sale, Berkshire has also been trimming its investments in Bank of America, Chevron, Capital One, Floor & Decor Holdings, T-Mobile and Louisiana Pacific recently. Berkshire also unloaded its nearly $1 billion Snowflake investment.
There are several possible motivations for Buffett-led Berkshire to be building up its cash positions by selling off large parts of its stock portfolio. Among the items worth considering is possible antitrust worries. The University of Virginia Law School said on 3.25.2024 this.
DOJ [Department of Justice], joined by 15 states and the District of Columbia, sued Apple for violating Section 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act, alleging that Apple is using anticompetitive practices in order to maintain its monopoly in the smartphone market.”
FindLaw said this about Bank of America (BoA) on 4.4.2024.
Bank of America Faces Legal Challenges Over Overdraft Fees and Pandemic Relief Promises. Bank of America Corp. is currently embroiled in legal challenges due to its practices around overdraft fees and allegations of breaking promises to provide financial relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Left-leaning Reuters reported this on Feb 22, 2023.
Bank of America Corp (BofA) (BAC.N) amassed $1.2 billion in expenses for litigation and regulatory investigations last year including fines and settlements.
Berkshire was already being embroiled in other legal and image issues, as MHProNews reported.
If Buffett led Berkshire believes, for example, that some major event(s) are about to roil the economy, markets, or public peace in the U.S. or elsewhere that could drive stocks down, that may be a reason for both Jain’s and Berkshire’s increasing their cash or cash equivalents positions.
