According to enidnews, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission (MAPC) in Enid, Okla. will consider amending the city municipal code to allow temporary workforce dormitories be sited on land now zoned industrial to meet housing needs for oil and gas field workers. Although no developers have requested the change, the city has received several inquiries about the possibility of building temporary manufactured housing. MHProNews has been informed the proposed amendment in this north central Okla. city requires any temporary dwelling facility to file a drainage report for storm water.
