Strong auto sales and reports of fewer jobless claims led investors to push all three indexes in gaining over one percent in today’s session. CNNMoney reports the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained +1.21 percent, +180.85 points, to close at 15,176.08. The Nasdaq moved up +1.32 percent, +44.94 points, to end the day at 3,445.37 while the S&P gained +1.48 percent, +23.84 points, to finish at 1,636.36. The Yahoo! Finance Manufactured Housing Composite advanced +1.89 percent to close at 1124.3. Housing stocks we track all closed up or even, except for one. Deer Valley gained +8.33 percent, +0.05 points, to close at 0.65, although several stocks gained over two percent. Third Avenue Value Fund (June 12) is the only stock we follow that fell, and it is a trailing stock: it lost -1.02 percent, -0.55 points, to finish at 53.35.
