The Midland Independent School District (MISD) in Midland, Tex. is a step closer to deciding where to site the manufactured homes it will be acquiring to house staff. At a special meeting tonight, June 25, board members may decide whether to site the homes on the grounds of an unused school, or lease 100 sites in vacant Stonegate Mobile Home Park. As MHProNews posted June 19, 2013, MISD would have to develop infrastructure at the school, so it may be less expensive to lease existing homesites at Stonegate. Cbs7kosa says the board has allotted $3.5 million for the project.
