Based on what they call a Universal Grid, Cannon Design has designed medical facilities using modular units the company says are useful in any health care application project. Because of its adaptability and quicker turnaround production time compared to site-built, it saves money and time and allows for alteration in the future. According to csemag (Consulting-Specifying Engineering magazine), Cannon has utilized the concept with Kaleida Health and the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as Indiana University Health and BJC Institute of Health.
