The Memorial Hospital’s (TMH) Board of Trustees in Craig, Colorado has just approved the site lease for a 5,000 square foot modular dialysis building on hospital land. Sanderling Healthcare of Nashville, Tennessee would lease the land and build and operate the center. Not only would there be eight stations for dialysis patients, space is available for patients needing chemotherapy infusions, according to craigdailypress. Located near the northwest corner of CO, patients currently have to make the trip to Grand Junction, which is nearly 200 miles away, or Denver, which is farther. TMH will make $150,000 infrastructure upgrades to the site pending approval from lender Prudential and backer the Department of Housing and Urban Development. MHProNews has learned the goal is to have the modular medical facility finished by year’s end.
