Modern Modular Dwelling Straddles Rooftop

A modular dwelling which sits atop an eight-story building in downtown Hobart, Tasmania, Australia could be re-located in two years to a suburban area, a remote mountaintop or a beachfront. Created by Rosevear Architects and Tasmanian property developer Brett Torossi, each module is 10.5 feet wide X 22 feet long X 9.3 feet tall, and the units are connected by a continuous deck, as sourceable.net tells MHProNews. The creators goal is to produce a durable dwelling that can adapt to many situations at a reasonably low cost and still maintain good solar orientation.
