ATCO Structures & Logistics has received a contract to provide modular housing facilities and site services for a 1,200 person workforce housing facility for the Shell Carmon Creek Project near the town of Peace River in northern Alberta, Canada. According to marketwatch, ATCO is partnering with the Woodland Cree First Nation (WCFN) in supporting services to include catering, housekeeping, camp management and janitorial as well as construction. Featuring single occupancy bedrooms and extensive exercise facilities, the modular units will be manufactured at the company’s plants in Calgary, Alberta and Pocatello, Idaho. MHProNews understands ATCO will also build a 200-person office complex as part of the project. The company has operations on five continents.
