Updating an MHProNews post from Oct. 24 regarding the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) support for those displaced by the recent flooding in Colorado, CBS4.com reports from Evans, CO the government agency has extended temporary housing assistance for two weeks. The extension will allow some families to remain in hotels, although others who no longer qualify will have to check out and search for housing in an area with less than a two percent vacancy rate. While FEMA is bringing in 50 manufactured homes, as we reported, Weld County officials say they want to bring in more of the affordable housing.
