On second reading, the Goshen (Ind.) City Council put a stamp of approval on Lippert Components’ request for annexation of a 56-acre parcel Lippert intends to use for expansion. The plot is located outside the city but borders the city limits. RVBusiness reports the acreage will be zoned Manufacturing-1 Industrial, and Lippert has agreed to pay the city’s standard connection fees and to construct a water main to service the facility when it becomes necessary. MHProNews knows Lipppert, a subsidiary of Drew Industries, Inc., as a component supplier to the manufactured housing, recreational vehicle and cargo/horse trailer industries. The proposal now goes before the Goshen Plan Commission.
