Champion Home Builders opened a second manufacturing facility at its 30-acre Lake City, Florida location this week (Nov. 18, 2013), adding 45 new jobs, according to digital-journal.com. The 70,000 square foot facility re-establishes the Redman Homes manufactured housing brand that has a respected name in the Southeast, but closed in 2002 in a previous Fla. site. “There is a lack of pre-owned homes for sale inside many of Florida’s communities and many new homes are simply too expensive for some budgets. Through value-engineering and a focus on high-efficiency manufacturing, we offer buyers a new home at or near the cost of a pre-owned home,” said Wade Lyall, South Region Vice President of Champion Home Builders. As MHProNews knows, Champion operates out of 30 facilities across North America and the United Kingdom.
