The Woolrich area of South London, once thought of as a dangerous region, is experiencing an “embryonic reinvention” of housing under development, including 60 one and two-bedroom modular apartments with occupancy priority going to households working or living locally earning $62,000 to $81,000 annually. Woolrich Central is comprised of a series of low buildings linked by a network of courtyards, walkways and sky gardens. Some of the units, MHProNews has learned, will have balconies, and others have glazed in winter gardens. One bedroom room flats start at just under $350,000, as homesandproperty.co.uk states, while two-bedroom units go from $435,000.
