Following up on a story MHProNews posted Nov. 23, 2013, Sanford, North Carolina modular home builder Homes by Vanderbuilt reached out this Christmas season to their online social network community and raised $1,000 for the global nonprofit Toys for Tots campaign. This marks the third year the company has participated in the U. S. Marines’ program, but only the second year they have reached $1,000, according to sbwire.com. Says company owner Tom Van de Reit, “My company is all about giving back to the local community. This year we decided to turn to our online community once again to help bring awareness to little boys and girls throughout Sanford, and the nation, who will not be receiving any presents under their Christmas Tree this year.”
