The Monticello (Arkansas) City Council passed an ordinance effective May 1, 2014 that limits manufactured homes sited be no more than 15 years old, and they must meet all city building and occupancy codes the same as other homes. According to mymonticellonews.net, building permits for manufactured homes are only good for 60 days. Additionally, as MHProNews has been informed, the new ordinances also delineate dimensional placement on the site, as well as skirting and anchoring issues. Homes existing prior to May 1 will be grandfathered in.
