MHProNews.com has learned from fredericksburg.com in Virginia the Colonial Beach School Board told the Town Council it needs $1.26 million to renovate the elementary school that were devastated by a fire Jan. 6, 2014, while students use modular classrooms that have been sited near the current Colonial Beach High School. The school board wants to borrow that amount from the town while awaiting insurance money which they have been assured will come soon.
