Next Step Homes is the factory-built home distribution channel for parent company Next Step Network, which mobilizes nonprofit resources to provide affordable and ENERGY STAR homes for low income residents across the nation. Next Step couples its 25 nonprofit community housing development organizations with heavy hitters in the factory-built housing industry—Cavco Industries, Inc., Champion Homes, Clayton Homes and Kit HomeBuilders West. Champion built and installed 17 new manufactured homes in five months at the Pine Tree Manufactured Home Park in Monmouth, New Jersey following Hurricane Sandy, working with the Affordable Housing Alliance, a Next Step member.

Community Frameworks, a Next Step member in Washington, has ordered homes from Cavco’s Palm Harbor Homes plant in Millersburg, Oregon.
