Chinese-built modular homes have been exported to 80 countries, but transportation would make the prices too high to address the housing needs of squatters, rural-urban migrants and graduates in this nation, according to theborneopost.com. Housing Development Corporation (HDC) chairman Datuk Dr Abang Abdul Rauf Zain said, after visiting a Chinese modular home factory, “We are very concerned with the increasing cost of low cost housing.
