New Zealand Bringing in Modular Homes for Quake Homeless

Following the earthquake Tuesday that devastated Christchurch, New Zealand, Housing Minister Phil Heatley said temporary housing needs to be provided for people whose homes were destroyed.  Sites will be chosen where electrical service can be established that are also suitable for modular homes.  Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee feels certain that it is safe to rebuild the city despite the 6.3 magnitude jolt.
