Dubbed the Happy Cheap House and designed by Swedish architect Tommy Carlsson, the iron clad home and bold design is two stories and 110 square meters of optimized interior space. Modular prefab design means the home with its irrigular shape and roof-line can be rapidly assembled on even a modest sized home site.
At the equivalent of $181,000 U.S. dollars, the home is modest in cost by Swedish standards, and not uncompetitive compared to conventionally on-site built homes in the U.S.. Jetson Green tells MHProNews that the home’s design should lend itself to last longer with its iron facade. ##
