MHProNews has learned from modularhomecoach that in 2015 when ESPN assumed the role of broadcasting the US Open Tennis Tournament, it picked Triumph Modular to construct the two separate buildings. Triumph has provided temporary modular facilities for the ESPN network for the past seven years, but the broadcast rights had belonged to CBS for 46 years.
Triumph was awarded a three-year contract after lengthy consideration. The ESPN Broadcast Village project consists of a two-story broadcast media complex, and a 12-unit one-story administrative building. The electrical and mechanical specifications for the media complex were especially challenging.
The two modular structures will be deconstructed and reassembled for the prestige event in Flushing Meadows, NY each August. ##
