Gazettenet reports from Northampton, Massachusetts, that a structure on the property of now former city councilwoman Angela Plassman may be in violation of the city’s building code.  City Building Commissioner Louis Hasbrouck says if it is manufactured housing rather than a recreational vehicle, it would be in violation of the flood plain and zoning ordinances because it is considered a structure.  A special permit is required for more than one house to sit on a single lot.  A complaint was lodged against her by an anonymous source, and the city planning director filed a subsequent complaint against her April 4.  Plassmann resigned abruptly from the council April 8 citing harassment by an unnamed city official.
