In following up on a story we published here June 13, The Greeley Tribune in Colorado reports the Evans City Council unanimously voted to change the terms for manufactured homes in the Cave Creek manufactured housing community, for one year. Instead of having to be less than four years old, as originally planned, the homes have to meet the following aesthetic criteria: Wood or vinyl siding with a stucco appearance, or made from recycled materials; a door or window facing the address side of the house; two or more colors on the outside; and all hitches must be removed before occupancy. The council will review its decision in one year. Owner Sun Communities had asked for the change.
