The Dow lost 15.51 points to close at 12,571.91, as investors observed the debt ceiling debate and housing stocks closed mixed. The Manufactured Housing Composite lost 1.03 percent to end the day at 1084. Nobility Homes gained 4.48 percent, Equity Lifestyle Properties was up 2.50 percent, Skyline Corporation added .82 percent, Sun Communities gained .49 percent, and MSCI was up .27 percent. Palm Harbor Homes lost 17.07 percent, Cavco Industries fell 2.55 percent, Drew Industries dropped .55 percent, and Berkshire Hathaway lost .15 percent. Deer Valley remained flat.
