DJC reports that King County Housing Authority in Washington state has announced the financing of infrastructure and commons improvements at the Wonderland Estates manufactured home community. The 109 space ‘mobile home park’ will receive up to $4 million in financing by leveraging public funds with private equity. The authority purchased the land-lease community in 2007 in order to prevent it from being redeveloped, thus sparing the displaced resident seniors on fixed incomes there.
