MHProNews has learned from fortmillstimes.com a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary has acquired Kova Solutions, LLC, a provider of business management software targeted to integrating and controlling residential construction and manufactured housing from beginning to end, from sales to scheduling to warranty. Chesterfield, Missouri-based MiTek, a Berkshire Hathaway company since 2001, with operations in 40 countries on six continents, acquired Kova for an undisclosed price. MiTek provides engineered products, software and systems to the construction industry. Berkshire is the parent company of Clayton Homes, the largest producer of manufactured homes in North America.
