Frontier Housing, a non-profit affordable housing steward in Morehead, Kentucky that offers factory-built homes as one of its options, is celebrating its 40th anniversary of providing housing solutions in northeastern Kentucky Nov. 15 at the Morehead Conference Center.
Following entertainment and dinner, three awards will be announced: the Amanda Yarber Lifetime Commitment Award, the Community Stewardship Award, and the Friend of Affordable Housing award.
The organization offers competitive interest rates, in some cases below market, and also provides rental opportunities, homeowner counseling and other services related to housing.
MHProNews understands Frontier obtains factory-built homes from Clayton Homes through a special arrangement. Clayton is a subsidiary of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway and is one of the publicly traded firms tracked daily in our market report. ##
