Steven Hill of Septen Financial proposed to the Rossland City Council of British Columbia, Canada that the city provide land for 14 to 18 modular homes that would be built for seniors in Kelowna, BC, and be sited in Rossland.
He suggested a team of builders and finance officers would provide the know how and the funding for the project, and that the units could all be built on one acre of land. He added the possibility of a 50-year mortgage which would eventually return the investment to the city, as rosslandnews tells MHProNews.
When pressed for more specific information, Hill said he wanted to gauge the interest of the council for their interest in affordable senior housing before pursuing the matter any further. ##
