WGMD reports that Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden announced recently that his office will conduct manufactured housing information workshops. Two are planned for September. The Workshops will feature speakers from the Department of Justice Consumer Protection Unit along with a variety of other state and local officials. “Delawareans who own and live in manufactured home communities take pride in their neighborhoods and want a clean and safe environment in which to raise their families,” said Attorney General Biden. “Our workshops will provide residents and owners with information to help them understand their rights and responsibilities as they work to create and maintain thriving communities across our state.” Department of Justice Consumer Protection Unit, the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, the Office of Drinking Water, the Community Legal Aid Society and non-profit housing counselors. Each workshop will take place from 6 – 8 p.m.. Wednesday, September 7 at Kent Co. Levy Court Building, 555 South Bay Road, Dover, DE. Tuesday, September 20. New Castle County Delaware State Police Troop 2, 100 Lagrange Avenue, Newark, DE.
