Sherman Price and his brother, the late Leon Price, Sr., were honored for outstanding service and dedication to the state’s factory built housing industry, and inducted into the Arkansas Manufactured Housing Association (AMHA)’s “Hall of Fame.”Sherman Price was surprised by the recognition, the association’s highest honor, given at the AMHA Convention Sept. 27 in Little Rock. In business since 1969, Price Mobile Homes in Mena, AR is noted for affordable product and excellent service throughout western Ark. and eastern Oklahoma. Outside the industry, Leon (1942-1999) earned the title “Man of the Year” in three different service organizations, and helped develop a safe drinking water system for thousands of western Ark. residents. Sherman has held many titles in the AMHA organization, currently serves on the board of directors as well as on the executive committee, and is a highly respected member in his community.
