Following a story MHProNews last published Nov. 16, 2015 regarding the Mojave County, Arizona’s Board of Supervisors attempt to limit siting in the county of manufactured homes no older than seven years old, the mojavedailynews reports the board took no action at Monday night’s meeting.
Retailers, installers, manufactured home owners and others in the industry had opposed the move, saying it would unnecessarily choke off the sale and placement of MH, regardless of the condition, harming business and people who could not afford a newer home.
The board heard an update on changing the ordinance to allow homes built after June 15, 1976 into unincorporated areas of the county, but decided to postpone whether to alter the ruling for 60 days until the Feb., 2016 meeting.
