Under a program administered by the Warren Public Housing Authority in Arkansas, manufactured homeowners who meet income guidelines can upgrade their homes with assistance from the Arkansas Development Finance Authority, as salineriverchronicle.blogspot.com informs MHProNews. A family in the Banks, AR area recently received a new, handicapped accessible manufactured home with a front porch and a septic tank. The recipients will be required to repay half of the $90,000 cost over a 20-year period at one percent interest. More new homes are on tap around Warren, although the program is also available in a few surrounding counties. ##
