“I&I/TIPP publishes timely and informative data each month from our polls on this topic and others of public interest. TIPP’s reputation for excellence comes from being the most accurate pollster for the past five presidential elections,” says their article on the latest survey on voters’ views on the seriousness of Joe Biden’s mental health. The author of the report, Terry Jones, has as his bio-in-brief the following: Jones “is an editor of Issues & Insights. His four decades of journalism experience include serving as national issues editor, economics editor, and editorial page editor for Investor’s Business Daily.” The topic of the article is “64% Of Voters ‘Concerned’ Over Biden’s Mental Health: I&I/TIPP Poll.”
Citing that survey, the WND NewsCenter, NewsMax, the New York Post, the Daily Mail and others in media have reported on the increasingly common topic even among Biden supporters and Democrats. Per the WND NewsCenter to MHProNews is the following.

Now a majority of DEMOCRATS say Biden’s mental health in doubt
Joining Republicans, independents with concerns
By Bob Unruh
Published October 10, 2022 at 11:07am
A new poll reveals that now a majority of Democrats think Joe “Biden possibly has mental health issues.”
“Let that sink in,” said the analysis of the results from the new I&I/TIPP poll, after it revealed that 64% of all voters, nearly two-thirds, up from 59% in a similar poll just two months ago, believe Biden has mental issues.
“Virtually all of October’s gain came from Democrats, who went from just 39% expressing ‘concern’ over Biden’s mental health in August, a high number in itself, to 52% in the latest poll.”
Biden’s verbal fumbles and gaffes are legend. Already there’s been a book published documenting some of the more egregious, including when he told a supporter, who was confined to a wheelchair, to stand up and let the crowd see him.
The Issues and Insights results, from an online poll of 1,376 adults October 5-7, showed that, “Concerns over President Joe Biden’s recent very public displays of possibly age-related mental impairments have jumped among voters since mid-summer.
“And these worries aren’t partisan, with a majority of all political groups, including Democrats, now expressing concern.”
The polling now shows 41% of all voters are “very concerned” and another 23% are somewhat concerned. Only 30% are in the not every concerned or not at all concerned categories.
At the latest poll, 86% of Republicans were either very concerned or somewhat concerned, while 59% of independents were in those categories.
The poll said “only blacks (52%), single women (59%), self-described moderates (58%) were below the 60% threshold for being ‘concerned’ about Biden’s mental health.”
Only one group, self-described liberals, did not reach a majority, at 45%.
“With a growing list of threats and challenges — recession, an energy crisis, collapsing investment markets, surging illegal immigration, soaring inflation, escalating threats from both Russia and China, to name but a few — proliferating both here and abroad, some are already raising questions: Is Biden’s mental infirmity a danger to this country?” the poll report said.
“Is it time for the president, who turns 80 next month, to be tested by competent medical experts and have the results openly released to allay public fears?”
The analysis continued:
Recent video snippets show Biden wandering off stage, apparently lost, after speaking briefly; forgetting the name of the Declaration of Independence, the nation’s founding document; not remembering that a congresswoman he was honoring at a ceremony was in fact dead, asking “Where’s Jackie (Walorski)?”; invoking the possibility of nuclear “Armageddon” after Vladimir Putin’s military suffered setbacks in Ukraine; and so on.
Going back to early 2021 and before, when Donald Trump was still president, there was an accumulation of news stories, think pieces, blog posts, and op-eds regarding the possible expulsion of Trump through the 25th Amendment of the Constitution, which prescribes how to remove and replace a president who is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”
A quick Google search yields nearly 12 million hits for the words “donald trump and 25th amendment.” A comparable search for “joe biden and 25th amendment” garners fewer than 4 million hits.
Trump took a mental fitness test in 2018 (the widely used Montreal Cognitive Assessment), passed it, and released the results. As Trump said in his typically hyperbolic way, he “aced it.”
“The best way to approach Biden’s apparent multiple memory lapses and periods of disorientation is not to speculate based on video clips alone but to demand full disclosure and transparency, especially of a president almost 80 years old with a significant medical history,” wrote Dr. Marc Siegel, a professor of medicine at New York University, in a recent op-ed.
Commentator Paul Bedard at the Washington Examiner noted, “The findings could reinforce reports that some leaders in the Democratic Party are hopeful that Biden will step aside and not run for reelection, though they have no obvious replacement. Vice President Kamala Harris remains down in approval polls, and the choice for many Democrats, former first lady Michelle Obama, has ruled out a run.”
WND reported only days ago on Biden’s latest:
Biden: “Let me start off with two words: Made in America” pic.twitter.com/jAeMOXUAn3
— Greg Price (@greg_price11) October 7, 2022
At a stop in Hagerstown, Maryland, he said, “Let me start off with two words – Made in America!”
And he repeated it.
Commentator Charlie Spiering said, “Joe Biden, the same guy that said J-O-B-S was a three-letter word.”
Twitchy commented, “So it sounds like when he’s counting things, he should automatically add one more than he thinks there are and then he’ll be right.”
Some of Biden’s mental failures are more serious, such as when he asked where the late Congresswoman Jackie Walorski was at a news conference. She had died a month earlier in a tragic car crash.

Note: on 10.5.2022 CNN Business proclaimed a ‘real estate recession.’ But by following the facts, evidence, citing various experts and sources along with relevant analysis by MHProNews said on 8.27.2022 that the U.S. is in “a housing recession.” MHProNews predicted in the spring of 2021 that inflation would soar. Some in the mainstream only grudgingly acknowledged months later that it would be so. MHProNews said that gas prices were going to start rising on 9.5.2022, while they were still modestly falling. OPEC plus announced they are cutting production and prices were already rising. The point? This is your source for reliable information, analysis and commentary.
