MHProNews has learned from northernstar.au that the Lismore City Council, in Queensland, Australia has unanimously rejected a proposal for a $10 million, 578 home site manufactured home community (MHC) in Goonellabah because details of the proposal do not line up with what was initially presented to the council.

Originally, developer Aarian Pty Ltd applied for the MHC with a community building and community farm, but in other parts of the application the proposal refers to 578 MH to be developed over 20 stages.

Further, necessary and essential documentation required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 has not been included. Moreover, the documents in support of the proposal lack the substance needed for relevant planning outside the proposed development. ##
