Yarrawonga Manufactured Housing (YMH) in Australia has been awarded a $1.1 million ($813,828 USD) federal grant to build a manufactured housing facility in Mulwala in New South Wales, Australia that will eventually employ 30 people when the project is complete, likely not for five years.
As bordermail.com.au tells MHProNews, the funding was confirmed by Farrar MP Susan Ley as part of an initiative targeted to helping areas impacted by the Murray Darling Basin Plan implementation.
YMH managing director John Tresize said he will be seeking planning approval from the Federation Council to build a factory on the site within the Mulwala industrial estate. The total cost of the project is $2.5 million ($1.82 million USD). The site will include an office area, construction zone and warehouse facility. ##
