BERTHOUD, CO–(Marketwire – August 19, 2010) – Barvista Building Systems, the leading modular building manufacturer in the Rocky Mountain Region, today unveiled its new Keystone Series, a set of specifications and five models created around the changing needs of the customer in today’s market.
Known for its high-quality, efficient, custom modular homes, Barvista has developed the Keystone Series to attract the home buyers that want those same qualities in an entry level square footage and design.
According to Tony Watson, CEO of Barvista Building Systems, the Keystone Series was specifically tailored to the needs of those customers. “We put a lot of energy into every aspect of the design, construction, and specifications of these homes to create a product line that would address changes in the marketplace. We wanted to keep our fundamentals in place, but acknowledge the trend towards smaller square footage and efficiency being seen in today’s new home buyer.”
Built at its Berthoud, Colorado building facility, in the heart of the Rocky Mountain’s Front Range, The Keystone Series features an efficient, single story design “core” at 1456 square feet, and four unique expanded modifications:
- The K1456, a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit
- The K1767, a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit with Family Room Addition
- The K1914, a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit with Master Sitting Room and Family Room Addition
- The K1915, a 4 bedroom, 2 bath unit with Family Room Addition
- The K2067, a 4 bedroom, 2 bath unit with Master Sitting Room and Family Room Addition
In order to maximize efficiency, the Keystone Series plans come pre-designed with optional amenities and design configurations like fireplaces (multiple optional locations), basement stairs, bathroom configurations, and bump-outs.
Added Watson, “We tried to look at every aspect of the Keystone Series to thoroughly value engineer this product for these home buyers. We went through an exercise to try to maximize the efficiency of square footage, delivery and field costs, long-term energy costs, spacing — everything really.”
Available immediately, the Keystone Series plans join Barvista’s existing Peak Series floor plans comprised of over 50 ranch, two-story, cape, cabin, and multi-family floor plans. All plans can be customized to meet a customer’s or the project’s specific needs.
Privately owned and locally managed, Barvista has earned a reputation for its high quality modular construction through a variety of custom single-family modular homes, single-family attached, multi-family, and hotel projects.
